About the mechanic visit

An autobids-approved mechanic will meet you at the viewing and inspect the vehicle in front of you, using our standard checklist of [N] points. You'll get a copy of the completed checklist.

• The mechanic gives an opinion based on a visual and hands-on check during one visit. It is not a guarantee or warranty of the vehicle's condition, value or future performance.
• Only the items on the checklist are inspected. The mechanic does not dismantle parts, run diagnostics beyond those listed, or check things that can't be seen or tested during the visit.
• Faults can be hidden, intermittent, or appear later. Neither the mechanic nor autobids is responsible for faults found after the visit, or for your decision to buy.
• The service is optional. Its fee is for the inspection only and doesn't depend on whether you buy.

What is covered

The visit covers the items on the standard checklist of [N] points, as they can be seen or tested at the viewing. You receive a copy of the completed checklist in the app after the visit.

Booking and rescheduling

You can book once the seller has accepted your offer. The visit is arranged for the viewing time you agreed with the seller, in Delhi NCR only. Our team arranges the mechanic and confirms the booking with you. To change the time, contact us as early as you can.

Cancellation and refund

If you cancel at least [X hours] before the visit, the fee is refunded. [Owner: add what happens after that, and see Refunds and Cancellations.] If the seller does not turn up, we will [Owner: refund / rebook].

Who the mechanic is

Limits of liability
