Listing a car

Listing is free. There is nothing to refund.

Buying a car: the 1% reservation deposit

• To buy a car, or when a seller accepts your offer, you pay 1% of the price shown to autobids. The price shown already includes our buyer fee. The car is then marked sold on autobids and you get the seller's details.
• You inspect the car and pay the seller directly. The price of the car is paid by the buyer to the seller. autobids doesn't hold it and can't refund it.
• When we refund the 1%: if, when you inspect the car, you find a problem that the listing did not show, and the sale does not go ahead because of it, we refund the 1%. You can tell us through Grievance Redressal with what you found.
• When we do not refund the 1%: if the sale does not go ahead because of something the listing already showed (for example a flaw, a modification or an owner count that was listed), or because you change your mind.
• If the seller withdraws the car or the sale fails for a reason on the seller's side, we refund the 1%.

Offers: the 1% security

• When you make an offer, 1% of the offer is held by autobids as security while the offer is open.
• If the seller declines your offer, it expires, or you withdraw it, we refund the 1% in full.
• If the seller accepts, the 1% becomes your reservation deposit and the rules above apply.

Mechanic visits

• You can cancel for a full refund at least [X hours] before the visit.

Free photo shoot

Our team will photograph your car for free for a limited time only. If you cancel, there is no charge.

How to ask for a refund

Write to us through Grievance Redressal. Say which booking or car it is about. We will reply within the time stated there. Refunds go back to the way you paid. [Lawyer: confirm time to refund.]
