Shop with confidence
Buying a used car from a private seller is where most of the risk lives. This is what autobids does about it, and what it can't do.
Every car verified
Sellers upload their RC, ID and, where they have them, insurance and service records. We cross-check the registration details, owner name and registration year against what the seller wrote. Anything that doesn't match is fixed or the listing doesn't go live. The Verified by autobids box on each listing shows what was checked, with a tick only where a check exists.
Fee refunded if it doesn't sell
The 3% fee is a seriousness deposit. If you inspect the car and decide not to buy, or the deal falls through, we refund it. We only keep it if the car is sold.
Inspect before you pay the seller
The fee unlocks the seller. The price of the car itself is paid directly to the seller, after you've seen and checked the car. autobids isn't holding your car money.
A real person connects you
After the fee, a member of our team calls you and the seller, and arranges where and when to meet. You never need to negotiate your phone number into a stranger's hands.
One price, no surprises
Every price on autobids includes the 3% buyer fee. Sellers receive the price they asked for in full, so what you see is what you pay.
Paperwork handled
Transfer forms, NOC, hypothecation clearance and insurance transfer can be done by our team for a fee, so the ownership change doesn't fall through the cracks.

What we check, and what we don't
- We check: documents match the listing; the owner's ID matches the RC; hypothecation and challan status where we can check them.
- We don't: guarantee the mechanical condition of a car we haven't inspected, hold the car's sale price, or act as the seller.
- Cars with an autobids inspection report show a tick. Without a tick, assume nobody from autobids has inspected it, and inspect it yourself.
